Whenever we go to the Douro, we always stop by at this wonderful Quinta, Quinta Nova de nossa senhora do carmo. It’s situated at a perfect spot between the mountains of the Douro river valley, where vines are waiting to grow and give lush, full, fruity wines at the end of the season.
Flowers grow and blossom, olive trees are hundreds of years old, giving both incredible oil, but also show the bounderies of the quinta’s by marking the lands ownership.
Moon rise, Sun sets, all in all a breathtaking scene that makes you want to live here for ever.
