Espresso Mar-Tawny Port Wine Cocktail

Turning classics into new cocktail has been a thing for most spirit producers and mixologist alike. Knowing the popularity of these classic cocktails, it’s no surprise. In finding the best recipes and cocktails for our audience, we stumbled added upon a version of the classical Espresso Martini. This delightful cocktail is famous for it’s spark, with shots of espresso making you awake and sharp, whereas the vodka and coffee liqueur used in the classic espresso martini, will give you that tasty vibe of warmth and DELICACY.

Ingredients of a perfect Espresso Martawny:

  • 1 Shot of freshly brewed espresso - preferably from a real espresso machine (30ml)

  • 2 shots of Coffee Liqueur (30ml)

  • 2 shots of Tawny Port Wine (30ml)

  • Ice cubes for shaking and cooling down drinks

  • 3 coffee beans for Garnish

  • To create this incredible drink, follow these instructions:

    Cool down your final glass of choice. We recommend using a martini glass or coupe. (wine glass will do just fine)

    Make an espresso and poor the shot into your shaker. Add the 2 shots of Tawny port and 2 shots of coffee liqueur into the shaker and add sufficient ice cubes to cool the drink down and create enough foam whilst shaking your Boston or Cobbler shaker until you feel like the drink has the perfect temperature.

    Poor into the glass using a Hawthorne Strainer, and poor the foam layer on the top.

    Garnish/Sprinkle with 3 coffee beans and serve.
